Salaam Muhibeen,

I thought it should be noted also that Shaykh Sidi Ibrahim Salih al Husaini the Grand Mufti of Nigeria is Mutjahid in the schools of fiqh of Imam Malik, Imam Shafi, Imam Hanafi, and Imam Hanbali.

This is a rarity in all ages and especially this time of ours.

from memory there were only 2 scholars who got to such a level in the history of islam one was Imam Tahawi who lived at the time of the four imams and the second was Ibn Rushd if m not mistaken.

so subhan Allah who taught His rightious slaves what they didnt know

in my place there was a imam named imam shaliyathi who was able to give fathwa in 4 madhabs at a time and was a great sufi..
